BF 1942

im just looking for some reviews, and saying hey to the people in the forums =)

the game is not too bad of a price, 40 bucks, but y'know...im just a flat out wuss =þ

Cool game you can actuall blow someone up and watch him flying.....
Neat game toplay especially with the Combat Desert mod on it.

i got the game when it first came out.
any gamer can find something they like here,

simply running around gunning,
sniping,
demolitions
laying mines
medic
repairing vehicles
stunt pilot ( )
tank banging
sailor boy
submariner

etc etc etc

maps are big enough, and EA have released a few new maps since release, and some expansions.

there are tons of mods for it (although most are useless and boring).

but i don't play the game any more. why? first of all i was bored of the same maps over and over but then the desert combat mod (desertcombat.com). this is by far the most popular BF mod and is the 'counter strike' if BF1942. but i freekin hate it, and it ruined my BF experence for life, havent touched the game since. maybe because they keep releasing alpha and beta versions, they have bugs but there are so many servers playing it and my squad played it aswell.

i think there is a new star wars mod comming out that looks cool though
