Grave Issue

Enjoying a time of drinking with his friends from work, Jack had completely lost track of time, sculled his remaining beer and made a bee line for the exit.

To save time and a potential "ear bashing" from his wife he decided to take a short cut through the local cemetery. After climbing the locked gate he proceeded to take the shortest route to the other side of the cemetery.

Making his way between the headstones, with barely enough light to see, he accidentally fell into an empty grave plot, which was being prepared for a funeral the next day...

As he fell face first into the grave, the heavens opened up and with a flash of lightning and a peal of thunder, the rain just teemed down...

The soil quickly became mud and made it impossible to climb out...

The next morning the groundskeeper arrived to finish preparing the site for the funeral. As he approached the grave he could hear 'whimpering'... Looking into the grave, the groundskeeper, saw Jack huddled in one corner of the grave sobbing and shivering...

"What's wrong with you?" the groundskeeper asked.

Jack replied, "I'm cold and I'm wet..!!"

Without hesitation the groundskeeper said, "I'm not surprised! You've kicked off all your dirt..!!"
