mongo like, lol.

got me a new item fer my gun collection, a 1953 CZ-52 in 7.62x25mm.

this is what they look like.

i looked up the specs and have heard great things about them.

a .357 magnum or 9x33R is around 1450fps and around 500flbs this thing burries the .357 at 1650-1720fps and 600+flbs of power, this thing will go streight thru a bullet proof vest and will hit what you aim at at 50+m.

ammo real cheep too, i got a 100rnd box for 20$ today, i can get a 500rnd box for around 50$ if i buy surpluss ammo.

pulled it apart today to do a little cleaning.

looks like it hasnt been took apart and cleaned in 20 years, lol.

can of WD40 and some CLP took care of that, hasnt got any real wear i can see, hasnt been shot much, just hasnt been cleaned after shooting.

still got sharp corners on the rifleing in the barrel.

tried it out walago, works real smooth, cover the pattern with my thumb at 20ft, try it out at 30m later, hasnt got that much recoil, probably because the pistol is 2lbs unloaded, lol, but i like it, i like it a lot.

it built on the beefier is better princaple, add a little too much material and it should be fine, made at the same plant that did the CZ mauser, and some if the same metals too.

Russian guns are real simple and to the point each weapon they make is made to defeat a certain thing. I have gotten a lot of training on Russian arms and have even played around some with that toy. By far the AK-47 is the best I got the record in school for taking apart and reassemble in 7 secs.

lol, if i tried 7 sec id pull the dust cover off and the spring would go fring acroos the room hiting the instructor in the head and the bolt would fall out, way my luck runs anyway.

CZ-52 got the roller lock system in it, the same type of technoledgy that the MG-42 had in it, it locks the slide and barrel together and makes it extreamly stout, alowing it to have very high pressures in the ammo.

went out shooting it walago.

did some general familirization shots and then did some quick draw rapid 3rnd shots, did some of them without ear plugs to get used to the report so that in a real world situation the report wouldnt supprise me.

ears still ringing like the gong show, lol, hell lot louder than the 38 snubbie that i used to have and has twice the muzzle flash, real consistant thoe and not 1 hickup after 50rnds of ammo, gota shift the sights to the left 3\4in but other than that, it a real good gun.

adjusted sight today, then went out shooting at 20m.

can hit the center of coke can at 20m all day with it, gona get me a 800rnd case next week of the ppsh-41 ammo, should be around 1750-1800fps with it, and should be able to do 100m shots too.

i went to the local trading post and talked to the guy there, known him for years, he talking about a guy who hunted deer with one, lol.

gona have to find some hollopoints fer it somewhere thoe.

its a 2 hit gun, intruder sudenly developes a enterance and exit wound and then is imediatly set on fire from the 2ft muzzle flash, lol.
