Fast roping

Has anyone figured out how to get the black hawk to lower the ropes yet? i can get the guys to try to get on the rope, but i have no clue how to make the rope lower down. Anyone who can figure this out gets my greatest thanks.

i havent tried this yet but it sounds real good.
have any of the single player missions include this feature? it will be possible to see how Nova did this when a BMS2MIS converter is released if so.

It is in several of the nova missions. I have spent a good 3 hours trying to figure it out. My latest theroy is that the function to drop ropes is simply not in the editor, but i hopefuly am wrong. Seeing how nova did it should help out.

well, i figured it out. First, you need the latest unlocked editor. Then, set an event to have the blackhawk play part animation 1 in forward when it gets over the drop zone. Then, tell the fastroper to attach to ssn (the blackhawk) Set an area at ground level,. and when he enters it, tell him to attack to ssn 0 (this gets him off the rope) To have the rope come back up, play part animation in reverse. Hope this helps.

sound like you can do it with buildens like if there are any 4-5 story buidens to go down or up the side of them. but we all know one only has to jump and never die from the fall online area

but its really cool you can use the ladder or the rope.

The thing is under events i cant find the play part animation 1 and reverse any one locate it for me?? thnx Julio

nope it dotn work i cant see the play part effect only play dialogue, in events which things do u put in if and then, oculd ya help me light storm i just cant find it cos im a newb
