I need Help too!

I played DFLW for a long time and just changed to a new laptop. Of course, I played DFLW with this new laptop very often. I just found a problem a few weeks ago.

After I joined the game for a while, my screen is frozen, change to black screen and no sound. I hit alt+del+ctrl, no response. I hit power button, no response. I have to unplug my AC adaptor and take off the battery to shut down my latptop. Tried 3 times, every time i got the same result. It makes me crzay.

gee ok like we need to know about them guys, please next time leave that out ok.

if you can get to desktop ok go to Start>run> type in: CHKDSK /F (fast scan) OR CHKDSK /R (through scan)

after press enter. New windows come up press Y hit enter then restart your laptop.
==========can't get to desktop do the following========
if you running Windows Xp family do the following:
start your laptop
1.) as it boot up press F8 fast many times.
2.) when you see a screen with solid back ground and text wording in it.
3.) if there a blue box/window in center press [Esc] if not lookup see [windows safemod] use the arrow key to move to high-lite the wording in it, up and down, hight-lite safe mod hit enter.
4.) it will bootup to desktop you may have to log-in, if so type in name or password to get to desktop.
5.) go to start>run> type in:
chkdsk /F (fast scan)

or

chkdsk /R (through scan take a lot longer)

a windows may come up if so wait 5sec till all the text show up in it, then Press: "Y" hit "enter" then restart your Laptop.

if you have a anti-virus program run it all so, if it find any virus delete it then disable system restore. reboot system after enable system restore.

scan every thing deep scan and if you can do it in safe mod or boot-scan. if it can do that be better. scan everything even scan archive files too if there a option to check off check it!!

Thx. I did what you told me, download the software and check the hardisk, nothing wrong.
I tried to uninstall the display and game and reinstall everthing. Finally , it works.
