i saw this thing a while back, problem for me is that it just seems like a gimmick and can slow you down. when i wanna run something, i just wanna click on it, not go looking for it :/

I had that for a while. The coolness wears off fast, plus it's a resource hog.

It looks cool, but the effiency of it looks horrible. Plus i see where Dr. is coming from. Background programs, especially ones that deal with the desktop are normally resource hogs.

Like I said, it's nifty if that's your thing, but like Stevie said, I want to get to my stuff now. If I have to walk through a ship to find it, that's a little longer than now

I am sticking with Good old Xp's desktop.

Wait until the next version of Windows comes out - Desktop is supposedly 3d...... At least it was in the screen shots I saw a few months ago were........
