Firefox not being cool anymore

alright, about ever since a week ago firefox is acting screwy. Its not keeping cookies correctly, Downloads aren't actually downloading. Whats something i can do to fix this?

(without reinstalling preferably)

i have no trouble with firefox, on the other hand don't care for IE8 or newer version my self these days, i use to be a big fan of IE-serials.

i think Firefox is wicket and cool as hell.

i download tons of things in firefox v3.0.10 all the time.

there are download managers plug-ins for firefox i use
add-on: custom download manager 1.6c

are you getting bad downloads could be the host lagging when a file get cut off it look like the whole file was download but in the file size don't match then file will not run when you try it. its the data flow or the file was cut off as it was downloading is all

probably gonna be easier to reinstall the more i think about it, grab mozbackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ backup everything or maybe just the cookies / passwords / history / bookmarks.

bin it, reinstall FF and then restore the data you want from mozbackup

i got the latest version, v3.0.10

i havent installed any addons.

the messing up goes for everything, doesnt matter what i try to save, even a picture straight off of a page. i can even copy a like and paste it in internet explorer and things suddenly work over there, but not here in FF.

will there is one other option un-install FF and reboot PC then re-install FF back in

maybe it get workout then, i think in the setting in it goofup some how!

don't know why you don't like add-on some of them are really good and there even anti-popups add-on too. many add-on are for the end user none of them have spyware/adware to them

well hey steve, that thing worked to a certain degree same problem when i resumed use of my old profile

i guess it was just a bug. in the privacy tab in obtions, the keep cookies was set to keep until they expire. I changed that to ask me every time, so it asked me every time to accept cookies. so i switch it back to keep until they expire and then things start working again!!! O.o i wouldnt know what was going on but i guess i just had to kick start it again... it baffled me, its been set to keep until they expire, how would it suddenly start working bc of that? well anyway it must have been a bug, now i got it fixed
