subgoals and weaponloadouts??

Goals:

Is it possible to write your own specific text to the subgoals???
If so how?

Is it possible to make text display to the player????
if so how?

Weaponloadouts:

Is it possible to change the weaponloadout of the AI and teammates? The AI seems only capable of carrying default equipment like ak 47 and RPG's.
if so how?

Can civilians be equipped with weapons so they can go from beeing unarmed to beeing armed????
if so how?

Question 1. YES
You make your own "missionname.BIN-file" DL the BIN editor from this site, install and open a stock-bin-file. ex. SPBHD_00.bin. extract this from "localres.pff" inside your BHD folder.

After extraction. Open up the extracted BIN-file with the BIN-editor. and rewrite chosen text messages, goals and what messages that are attached to the subgoals and waypointsname etc, etc.
REMEBER TO click the update button before moving on to next change. If not. The default-value changing back.

Question 2. YES.
Same as above, you can add textmessages trough the BIN.
-Add a text by choose "ADD-button". From the ADD-GROUP window. Choose "Triggered Text". Variabel "ID". And the ID-number of the text. Each text-messages got its own ID-number. Starts with 0. (zero) and up. Write the text in the "DIALOG-window"

Save alot, with the same name as BMS-file. The file will close down after each save. Open up the file and carry on. (DO NOT USE keycommand-Cutout. "CTRL+ X". This will make the BIN-editor to close down , without saving.

Okey! Now open up your BHDmed. In the "Event-window". You can now choose your text by using the "OUTPUT TEXT"-action. and also the right ID of the text.

You can also ADD text to the game by using a WAC-file. I will not go in to that becouse of the info about that are already covered in most sites.

I can clearify some aspects if you can say what type of action/messages you want. There are several text-messages styles that can be used. Ordinary text-mess atached to a event or place, and then there are text attached to goals, win and lose-messages.

Question 3 and 4. NO, not what I know about. try the bhd-modtools. You can add text and more using those tools to.

how about dialog. If I was able to record my own waw.files would it be possible to integrate them into a map???

Cool Own wavefiles

Convert your own waves into, PCM, 22050 khz, MONO, 16 bit.
use 8 bit to make you files a little smaller. The sound will be effected. I converts my files with Wavelab.

Use a Wac-file to trigg the sound. tutorials of that are avaible in forum.
