Video Card

Well...it has been two years since I have seen stuff about video cards so I am kind of in the dark.

I am thinking about upgrading my video card and I wanted to know what Good card would be good to stick in my computer.

It needs to be an AGP 8X compatible because I don`t have PCI Express.

I reckon heading over some video card developer site like nVidia or ATi. There should be a listing of video cards that are AGP 8x compatible.

Personally, I prefer GeForce cards.

Sites like newegg.com and tigerdirect.com should help out bro.

I was looking at the Radeon® X1650 Pro 512MB AGP, looks pretty cool. I don`t know if I want to drop $200 on it though.

You can always go to some random graphics card forum and ask them if it's good!

I have a question. What is more important on the Video Card Specs... memory or bits? Cuz I see one that has 512 mb but 128 bits and there is another that is 256mb but it is 256 bit and has a bit more pipelines.

Not in all senses, some older cards are just renamed to a higher number even if it's an old card so you can't trust the numbering, this is something that both Nvidia and ATI do.

Dang all of the cards I see for AGP 8X have bad reviews....
not sure if I should get a 256mb with 256bit or 512mb with 128bit
this one looked pretty cool though.
