Joint Ops:Escalation Issue

I'm getting a bizarre message whenever I try to enter an Escalation only server. I get a message saying the server has punted you. There is a numerical code as well. This does not happen with JO. I have had Escalation since the first day it was out. I got a new comp reinstalled both, updated both and played both. Now all of a sudden, NADA! Help!

i would try inside the game using the update in it again to see if something did not get instill a file maybe not got instill it.

do this happen in novaworld stats server or its only in outside area in public hosted server JOTR:E? you getting punted out of.

can you log-in to novaworld with the game ok?

are you using one JOTR Serials CD in both computer or only one, if you are using one Game Cd in more then one computer that could be why. only asking.

some gamers are using 3rd party anycheat software and using punkbuster anti-cheat software in Punkbuster you have to have it enable to get into them servers.


last it could be your game has gone bad and you need to re-instill it, has your system in the pass crashed or lockup?

if so do this filing system may have gone bad

Start>Run> type in> chkdsk /f
hit inter then a new dos box come up press Y hit enter again restart your computer it will scan the hard drive and auto-fix error's on it.

i would try the last one "chkdsk /f" first before re-instilling the game.

if you do re-instill the game:
1.) un-instill the game
2.) delete the game folder
3.) restart your system
4.) back to desktop now instill the game. using both Cd
5.) update the game ether download the update or update it inside the game.

now try to play it.

I've bought a new computer, so it's a clean install, I have PB selected. I updated JO first, then JO:E, I updated PB too. It was working a week ago, didn't do anything to it so I'm not sure. Maybe another clean install. Ugh! Thx Chief, can always count on you.

ive had this 2, i think its due to the update on this site cos every time ive try to update it with the patch on the site iget that same error but if i downlaod it off Novalogics website i have no problems with it at all

would liek to ask any of the admin to check that file over on the server with novalogic file to make sure im right,
