Because, we cannot get a shared server. We have been with many hosts. We transfer hundreds of gigs of bandwith a month, people download maps, browse the forums, download utilities and everything. No one really offers the bandwidth that our current host does for as cheap as they do ($150 isn't cheap, but 1,000 gb of RELIABLE bandwidth a month, $150 is a deal). And no other host in my experiance has had uptime like our current host to provide you the site when you want to see it or need that update or utilitie quick.

I like the flexability our server has also, I can do anything I want to it. Without going to my host, or breaking any kind of aggrement. Some of our scripts require software modification, I cannot do that on shared hosting because it affects other users on the server. We are a resource site that wants to be able to do anything, and if we am limited on space/bw we can't bring things to you like squad roster, banner exchange, top50 etc etc.

This is all for you guys... I've been paying this $150/mo bill for almost 2 years now.. And about another year at anywhere from $50 to $100/mo. Yeah expencive hobby, but you like it. I ran into some probs this month where I cannot afford my regular bills on top of what happened. So I am asking for money, if you think that is wrong then leave, I am not making anyone donate and I do not want to hear how you think it's wrong. When you come here, you spending MY money, so don't complain.

should be a duty to donate something if you can afford it...
