Offline play delta force extreme demo

I downloaded dfx demo from 3dgamers to check out the lan coop but i
cannot get the game to start a multiplayer game, it seems to want to connect to
the internet which it cant - i dont let the winders pc's on the net "."
Is this the case of the full game and the others in the series ??

I don't play online, i dont have a dedicated connection as im only on a modem and any surfing i do is done on my main linux pc.

It looks like the game's a dodo as far as lan play is concerned without an internet connection is this correct.

LAN you have to log-in to the INTERNET it the way it was made. it the same thing with the full vision. if you don't like that buy or tryout another game.

we all got use to that i have the full version! i can live with that totally.

you should try out the demo from www.novalogic.com they may have a new demo version out. other sites don't keep the demo files up to date.

only with DF: Xtreme
unlike DF: 1/2/LW/TFD/BHD and Team sabre Mod/JOTR and JOTR:E you don't need to log-in LAN

it their way of fighting pirating off their software.

people in the pass have been sharing their software with other so now they are force to make all log-in LAN too.
DF: Xtreme is the next step they are making all log-in lan game area.

any others follow after DF: Xtreme will be the same way.

Delta Forces

Delta Forces

I cannot be bothered to download the demo. To big for me and one singleplayer, and one multiplayer map, well they sometimes have a demo to help you make the descision about if you want to purchase the game or not.

Novalogic, Inc don't update their Demo's after a time they update the full version they think a demo is a taste of the game only if you like what you see then buy it, sample DF: Blackhawk Down full version is way better then the Demo they release to the public.

demo's are only a taste of the game and graphic of it all.

all games are the same when it come to demo's the full vision is way better.

DF: BHD/JOTR/DF: Xtreme are not for dial-up users.
you find some less lag in DF: BHD then you find in JOTR & DF:X were they are forcing a anti-lag cheat tool, but this is a over kill and kills off dial-up users. no one like to skip back and forth in a game area.

to much a good thing can be a over kill.
if your a dial-up user then these game will not be good for you only a warning. as for DF: 1/2/LW/TFD them game play is good for dial-up users. DF: BHD is a bit slow but not totally bad i had pings in it 250ms-400ms most of the time. up close it get worse ping 650-up.

i am a 56k user don't have high speed internet in my area. i live out in the woodland area not in the city or township were they are more of high speed connection.

Novalogic tech support will tell all to disable their Firewall and anti-virus programs to it work a lot better, but we know better with internet virus and bad hackers out there they would get into your system this is not a real option to do.
