phMailer - Would like to prepend e-mail subject line
I'm using phMailer for contact pages on my site for multiple folks.
Lately, I've been getting the request that the subject line include text to identify that it came from the site so that their junk mail filters don't throw it into oblivion. I tried to do this using concatenation (at least as best I could understand it), but kept getting an error on lines far away from anything I edited. Any ideas of a simple way to prepend the subject line with a fixed text? Obviously, I'm kinda of new to this and just muddling through. :-) |

Probably the easiest way to do this is to enable the dropdown box selection for the subject, that way you can specify all subject options. Have a look in the file for
$use_subject_drop=false; and change it to $use_subject_drop=true; A couple of lines below that you can specify all the subjects you would like, and a couple of lines below that again you specify the emails to send to depending on the subjects. That way you just put your site name in the subjects and the user has no way to remove or edit it... |
