phUploader1.2 Questions

Hi,

I'm new here and, first of all, the phUploader 1.2 works great. Thank you! However, 2 two questions:

1. How can I get the script to send me an email notification informing me that a user has uploaded a file into the uploads folder on the server?

2. I noticed that the script renamed the file after uploaded into the uploads folder. I do not want that to happen since user is going to name the file using his/her name. For example; john doe would name his file johndoe1.jpg etc.
