Littlebird seatbelt?

I have tried everything (I can think of), but I just can't fasten the littlebird seatbelt. And without it, it won't take off.
What am I missing here?

you have to hit attach

Wait do you mean how to get on the little bird? if so you hit shift button to hit attach.

If you go to main menu of BHD and you go to your remap keys scroll down till you see action or attach button and set it as shift.

NOTE: You do that to a humvee or a machine gun on a heli or a gun

Yes like Gunshot said you shift it is the best button for attach and it is right by the control key so if you had to get it fast you would just hit up to the shift!

Nah.
Best button for attach is NumPad 0.
You want to keep Shift for your ingame comms.
