Sad Make helo's attack me in single player builds

I could do it in previous editors but cannot get helo's to attack in DFX2 MEd builds.
I've worked out how to get them to fly on their own (if you assign a [People ssn] and do some event editing). Has anyone worked it out?

Stompem would like to return.

I haven't touched DFX, however in all the other games vehicles attack the player when they are set to red team. You also have to make sure ai setting such as guard, blind and deaf are off.

If you are putting in a blackhawk helicopter...then you must turn it to red team.

Try setting the attack and engagement ranges of the pilots to 150 meters or more so they can "see" you from longer distances.

Just curious, but do you have any inanimate objects marked "BLUE TEAM" (ie.. buildings, vehicles, trees ... etc )? The chopper maybe firing at other objects.

Your settings for the pilot look correct and should not have caused the Helo to go berserk.

The only changes to your setting I would make is :

Max Attack Distance.......320
Max Engagement Distance...320
Min Engagement Distance...32

FYI: Weapon accuracy #1 controls the accuracy of the weapon the AI carries. Weapon accuracy #2 controls the accuracy of the weapon/vehicle the AI is attached to.

Also, if you are using the FLYABLE NPO with Rockets then the textfile (behavior) for that perticular NPO helo allows it to act iratic and deviate from waypoints. Basically, giving the helo a mind of it's own. And, when attacking ... will not respond to event commands ... no matter what you do.
