Why is html disabled

I was wondering why is html disabled?? I dont know much about websites and html. thx

if u dont know what ur doing - or do know what your doing you can mess up the forum.

but you can tell if it's on or off when you make a post. [ it says at the bottom ] . you can see that in this section it is on.

html is on in these forums, but not in the sigs .
