i cant really say take your time cuz it only takes me about 15-30 minutes to make a sig but experiment with things, brush some and maybe chnge the setting to overlay or soft light sometimes... try feathering on pics sometimes

Feathering is a pain in the @$$...I have to feather the pic like 3 times before I can get the distinct border of the image to disappear, and by that time you can barely see the image, if yall nuderstand what Im sayin. So usually I do use overlay...for example - http://blackhawkjedi.proboards33.com/index.cgi I used overlay for the soldiers in the logo at the top...

dont use the marquee tool to select the whole picture, keep it as far away from the border as u can but so u can still see the picture. and u can barely see it because you are feathering it too much, try lowering the number
