There are many many articles on the web on how to make you own terrain, I made my simple flat desert (Coober Pedy) back in the days of BHD, it's still with me and used daily for testing stuff before I drop to the main map.
By now stompem you will relise that this is a great gaming communty but a bit thin on the educational side of things, I suggest that you troll thru the barracks on making your own terrain, (please include flat bits for buildings) please note that differing nova games have very different requirements depending on the version you build for.
