Hmm.. I'll have to check into that R580 chip. I think the only reason that support has risen for Nvidia so much is because ATI didn't have a good year in 2005 (They had to delay the release of some cards).
And i'm the same way - i like AMD much better than Pentium. You get "alot more speed for the money"
