Yes, you get a month free, as far as i know. You can also buy the game now with a 2 month game card inside. It is like $14.95 a month but i usually just go out and spend $30 and get a 3 month game card. You can make as many characters as you want. There are around 150 US servers and you can make like 12 characters per realm. so you can have like roughly 1800 characters. Its a lot better than guildwars. Its so much better than guild wars.
