I have downloaded a few maps and played some on servers that have custom skins that are viewable on stock BHD game files. I am hoping someone on here can explain to me how this can be done. I understand how to change/view and edit .dds, .3dl, and other types of files. But only the game with the file edits/changes can see the altered skins. Have a look at this map

These maps skins are viewable by any player w/out any mods or file edits, just stock game. If the map is edited the skins will go away. how is this done? Thank you for your help.
