Hmmmm. I guess
my dislike (or distrust) comes from all the bad press I've heard or read. Also, I hear it's quite the memory hog (which is normal for Windows
anything), but even more so for Vista. And now we hear they're upgrading again. I'd read that many old or older programs would either run poorly, or not boot up at all, with Microsoft telling you to contact the software company for an upgrade or patch. I've got a couple old favorites that are no longer supported (or the company has gone out of business!) and I hate to lose their use.
But, if the general opinion has changed, and Vista has a better rep than it used to, I'm willing to give it a chance.
