Important What's the best way to?

Questions about:

"What's the best way to start off a map?"

"Why is my map broken when I've done everything right?"

or

"Which game is the best one to map in?"

These are all really subject oriented questions with answers that are either based on general popularity, personal opinion or best guess supposition.

These kinds of questions probably don't have a concise or difinitive answer and that, more than likely, makes it harder for the person asking the question.

This would be because of the variety of answers that may be forthcoming from an audience consisting of a broad variety of experience.

In my opinion (lol) a way to overcome this is just to be as descriptive and definite as possible about the answer(s) you want in your questioning.

This is bound to help others trying to help you by narrowing down the field of enquiry and thereby giving you the best possible choice of answers in a shorter time.

Just as an example and a bit of a joke at the same time, here's some answers you probably wouldn't like to see to the above but are viable answers in the current context.

"What's the best way to start off a map?"
With a player start marker.

"Why is my map broken when I've done everything right?"
You haven't done everything right.

"Which game is the best one to map in?"
DFX2.

See what I mean?
