Basic Power is through the PCI-e 16 port and then there should be a physical cable connection from the PSU itself and attached to the top of the card.

Yes, there is a connection through the PCI-e port and the cable that powers the fan is connected also.
My (attached) picture maybe alittle fuzzy, but it shows a connecting cable from my power supply to the back of the NVIDIA card.
