So somebody draws a comic. They put time, effort, and talent into it. Maybe it's funny, maybe not. That's not important. What's important is they made a comic, posted the comic on a website, probably their own. The idea being people will come to their site to see their work and they can get sponsors and make money.

That doesn't happen.

Someone else copies the comic onto some social media venue or the other. They do not accredit, link, or even mention the original artist. Now the copy-poster gets points, the social media venue gets ad revenue, and the artist gets nothing.

That ain't right.

I had to dig through the source code just to find a context menu so that I could reverse search the image (still didn't find the artist's site). I think facebook does that on purpose. Keep the eyes on facebook, at all costs, you know.

So I clicked the link. It's depressed me a little.
