The "recall" from Intel about the new LGA1155 Sandy Bridge processors and the SATA 3.0Gbps degrading with usage over time, is with the P67 chipset on the motherboards, not the CPU?

Yep, the issue is, as it is now, limited to ONLY the Intel SATA2 ports on the P67/H67 chipsets. The Intel SATA3 and the non-Intel SATA ports are not affected e.g. Marvell are fine.

So if you moved your HDD and ODD off the Intel SATA2 you shouldn't have any problems.
