Sorry I didn't see this before! Steam games by default are installed to the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common
You should be able to locate the game from there. Make sure when you overwrite the game file with the VON Patch, that you do not re-validate the game or Steam will overwrite the patch. You will not be banned from Steam or anything, it will just overwrite it.
