What are friendly tags and how do I change the settings?

Answer:
Friendly tags are the name icons above the heads of teammates and allow you to quickly determine whether someone is a friend or foe. Pressing the K button on your keyboard cycles through the different settings. By default, friendly tags are set to “Far Brief” which displays the entire name of players who are nearby and a brief (|) mark for players in the distance. This allows you to see exactly who is close without the screen clutter of every player name on your team. Tags can also be turned completely off, on or “All Brief”.
