Could also check out 1and1.com - they use a custom control panel, and their billing is a 3 month cycle, but pc magazine dedicates 2 to 3 pages in each issue to their ads

I've hear some good things about hostgator. I'll have to check them out.
I'll also take a look at 1and1. I haven't read PC Magazine in a few months so I've not seen any of their ads
