it was different with my old motherboard, when the temperature became too much, it locked up. Nothing responded, there was looping sound but ctrl+alt+del wouldnt work. Absolutely no response, and it always happened after maybe 30 min of web browsing to 15 min of game playing.
Changing out the fans changed the time it lasted before locking up again, I kid you not.
I had a 1000 watt powersupply the whole time
