if you know how to group area triggers how area triggers are supposed to be grouped then we're already half way to your goal.
make sure the boat isnt starting off being directed on a waypoint. go to the events and make an
IF:
ssn (whatever) is within area trigger 1
Then:
redirect ssn (boat) to waypoint
