OK Maybe but we should have a good look at the games of the time.
Let's see if we can name the Open World games that allowed you to weaponize, drive, fly, teleport, play COOP SP Flag Ball TDM AAS etc.
IMO I'd say that immersion and overall capability would be the main consideration in a shooter, not just GFX, don't you agree?
