Found this tutorial and thought it looked good so i gave it a try, I have followed every step, but instead of the tentacle coming to a point, its just like one long tube, no actual point.

I am using photoshop cs, so maybe some things have changed in the new version?
I remember stevie had a sig w/ tentacle, got any ideas?
