Looky what I found.
I searched the archives of the internet and I stumbled along the history of DF-HQ. Please be patient for some of these to load. On the ones where the background doesn't load, highlight where the text should be and you will see whats posted.

StevieB, ~¥§~ÐΣ_4_M£ and I are happy to announce that DF-HQ is online! We have been working on this site for awhile now and hope you like it! We are still working very hard to get all the reviews and all the maps up! We have about 300 more maps coming as soon as we finish writing the reviews on the maps that are already have... all maps will be rated and have reviews common soon! We have lots of extras to! this is not just a map site, although that’s our main objective, we will have news, reviews, polls, forums, humor, Map of the week, featured maps, tutorials and a lot more! So far we have 700 maps! And 300 more coming! If you would like you maps posted on this site please use the "submit maps" page! If you encounter errors like broken links please tell me ASAP thanks! This site will get better and better and better and better! =)... thanks for stopping buy and enjoy your new home!
