My mistake...
Everything you said works 100%. Silly me kept trying with the * still inbetween the [*url] brackets and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working....until i looked at it closer and figured that if you put it the proper way.....i wouldn't be able to see it then!
(i actualy thought that the * was the special "command" to hide or take out the original url and just show the text that you want people to click on)
