Does anybody know if it is possible to host a server from a game that you buy on steam?

I bought Black Hawk down on steam and would like to host it without requirement of steam.

Any Ideas?

Another thing Iv noticed, you can join a Steam server without having steam logged in or even installed on your computer.

First I started one server hosted on Steam. Then I started a server from a old map that has nothing to do with steam. One server showed up at Nova lobby and the other didnt. When I Tried to join the one without steam I got directed to the steam server. LOL.. Must be becuas both was running on same port number. I didint thought it was possible to join a "Steam server" with out using steam on the gaming comp.
