Protector Panther asked for comments all I did was give mine.
My belief is NL won't ever recover from dropping the voxel engine. That was the best invention ever, all they had to do was take the time to work it, computers now can support that engine at 1600*1200 and they could have interpreted destructible landscape, as well as fixed the texture problems when prone.
