I'm guessing no, but you can try. Open up the game.cfg file in your Xtreme folder in notepad or similar.
There a few resolutions listed there with 0 (off) and 1 (on) values. It looks like 2048x1536 is the highest they go for my game. Try adding the resolution you want (make sure to enable it by entering 1 for its value) and then reference that number in the game_res value.
