come windows system will delete the Hd if you try to plug it into another system to read it, happen to me
i was hoping i could transfer files to my new system, hard drive was totally reformatted lost a lot of work
same thing happen to me old computer was fry will the mother broad anyways!

But to be honest, The NSODL is vastly different than what Getbacjack had originally planned, and I always wanted to make a trimmed-down-for-BHD version of the Deadline mod later, after the NSODL is finished.
I had been making steady, small improvements in the NSODL the whole time since the beta went up, but my old computer was killed by a power surge last month. I'm fairly certain that the power supply was the full extent of the damage, but I won't know 'til I get an adapter to test my old hard drive, and of course I'm dragging my feet on that, 'cause the cat's not dead 'til you look in the box, you know?
I'll try to get on that soon, though, so wish me a quantum of luck.
