In DFLW inside the pff there are 5 files with a .pdw extension, these are the files that contain the sounds. You add the file name minus the extension to one of the fields the general attributes screen of an *unlocked* med, which allows you to use the sounds from that file.
To use the dialog, after you set the file as above, in events its If whatever THEN "play wave file ###
Theres a utility that was made by Othello called something like Dialog Reference, this was an easy way to check out what sounds were in each file, I don't think NHQ has it but it would still be around.
