A New Update Is Available For Your Software, would you like to download the update now?
A fair number of my old and reliable software has lately asked the above question and having accepted some, I have regretted it immensely.
The trend today is more and more net connectivity and nagging, continual nagging that wasn't there in past versions, ruining the overall responsiveness, if the internet is slow that day PC start-up suffers and productivity is reduced due to interuptions by them or 3rd party hijacking.
What is the matter with these developers, I am sick of their increasing intrusion into my daily routine, I hope it is a passing fad.
