If that first bullpup weapon was a .50... the angle of the buttstock would cause some severe shoulder damage because the recoil would be directed back then up rather than straigh back. its the back and up rather than just back that causes problems, and after every round fired it drives the barrel down to the ground. as an assault rifle the buttstock helps keep the barrel level. If I am not wrong its designed off the steyr AUG, an old bullpup design but never was top quality, I would rather have a TAR21 for bullpup or an M4 for standard config.
