Been looking on chef knives the last 3-4 hours (somewhat scary thought) and been dreeming away at knives by Ichiro Hattori (around $1000 a pop and several years waiting list)
Then I found a great knife (so I've heared/read) made by SEKI KANETSUGU and it's only $70!

Doesn't have the damaskus look and make but it's still a nice looking knife
Will try to order it from Seki, Japan next moth
Anyone else interested in cooking and knifes related to cooking?
