It is tempting to use a weapon for self defense but I would be too worried that someone innocent would get hurt. I obviously wouldn`t want to go down without a fight like in a mall when some crazy person comes in shooting people.
I would be afraid of some accident happening with my firearm. Like a kid getting ahold of it when I am distracted. I know people say that people who take proper care of their guns will not have that problem but people are not perfect and one day I may mess up. I don`t think it is worth it right now for me.
If things get worse then I may consider it.
