1.) remove the filter
2.) wash it off the rubber with light soapy water
*no decreases soap or dish soap type, hand soap be ok.
3.) after it dry off (air dry normal) totally inside and after place some baby powder its (must) were the mask & skin contact to face.

you need to keep the oil in the rubber as it is! thats why you don't need to use any dish soap or degrease of any type the rubber will dry and start to crack up.

baby oil will break down the rubber so don't put any on it or any rubber oil cream of any type....a lot of people add oil to the runner to make it look new but after a time the rubber will break down
