I personally do not expect any privacy in any public place - so if I was in public school I wouldn't be suprised to see my locker searched (thankfully I never was - was homeschooled )


The job site I work at (art museum) used to search launch boxes, tool boxes and purses when ever you came or left (well search is a loose term - just had to open it up and let them look in).
