then it could be a bad video card
asus some time will try to charge you money to fix the card, ask newegg.com (seller) if they will exchange it for another card! sometime they will do it 98% times.
call them asap don't wait there is a time limited on exhanging it for another.

i know i had a ASUS ADM/Ati Video card type video card, Tigerdirect sold me and i had to exchange it with them,
freaks ASUS were going to charge me money on it to get it fix! even if it was brand new unit jerks. tigerdirect.com save me
