lol, its alive its ALIVE !
just built a frankenstien creation of a PC to see if it would work.
had an old HP pavilion 8140 case, a gigabyte 8IPE1000-g mobo, a 200 watt non atx PSU, a HP unknown slow ass pc, and a pair of amplified speakers from an old packard bell 386dx2.
took the pavilion 8140 case put in the mobo, (had to move the holes in case) got the HDD and CD rom out of the unknown HP pc and putem in the pavilion 8140 case, the mobo requires a 200watt minimum ATX PSU, and the PSU i have is a non ATX and is to short for the case so i put it in at an angle to where the holes just line up and 2 holes did, PSU doesnt care if it is in upside down right side up or backwards, as long as it hooks up corectly.
didnt have the atx 4 prong connector plugin for the mobo so instead i take a extender cable hook it to the extra HDD wire and hardwire 2 blacks and 2 yellow into the 4 prong ATX hole.
put in the HDD from the unknown HP and the CD rom and put in the vidcard i had lying around, hooked up everything and sit it on the table hooked up all the externals and fired it up, works great, no fuss no muss, as a matter of fact im on it now, lol.
