Just some historic facts of Swedish wars
During 300 years from 1500 to 1800, 160 of those ware occupied by fighting wars to expand territory
The longest war during that time where the Swedish Empire participated took place between 12 countries for 30 years over the territory that today is Germany.
The 2nd longest war that took place during that time was between Sweden, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Denmark and Poland against Russia and lasted for 25 years for control of Greater Livonia
The last 5 years of this war was the Russo-Swedish war that at the end resulted in a treaty of peace between Russia and Sweden in 1595.
Sweden has not been in war with any foreign power since 1814.
Only military involvment since has been UN/NATO missions.
Sweden has remained neutral since World War 1
